Masaka Kids Africana focuses on supporting orphaned, vulnerable and disadvantaged children and strengthening the communities around them.
Our work focuses on education, child welfare, food and basic needs, talent development and skills development. Through our different projects, we support children through music and dance, art and crafts, vocational skills training, community outreach, poultry and goat-rearing initiatives.
We also provide practical support to vulnerable families and communities through initiatives such as food, clothing, school fees and other essential supplies.
We focus on children, families and communities where there is a clear need for support, particularly vulnerable children, orphans, abandoned children and families facing difficult living conditions.
Our community outreach team visits different communities, builds relationships with local people and identifies families and children who need support. This helps us understand the challenges people are facing and respond with practical assistance such as food, clothing, school fees, shelter support and skills development.
We also use our music and dance activities to connect with communities, discover talented and vulnerable children and create opportunities for them to develop their confidence and potential.
We measure our impact through the children and communities we reach, the opportunities we create and the positive changes we see in their lives.
This includes tracking children supported through education and sponsorship, participation in our music, dance, art and vocational skills programs, and the families reached through community outreach initiatives.
We also value the stories and experiences of the children and families we support.
As our programs grow, we continue to document our activities and the lives they touch so that supporters can see the difference their contributions make.
